Cows' milk is composed of two proteins, beta casein and whey. The beta casein protein comes in two forms, A1 and A2.
Conventional milk contains a mix of both A1 and A2 proteins. The milk produced by the Fleckvieh cows has only A2 beta casein.
A2 beta casein protein is more natural to the human body and easily absorbed, this is a good option for people who have trouble digesting A1 proteins found in commercial milk.
